That doesn't figure much into the reasoning that has him sidling around everyone else centered in the doorway and sort of hovering an arm in the vicinity of Kitty's elbow; mostly this is inspired by the thing where she looks like she just took a blow to the back of the head, but anything to ease the tension, really. ]
